Sustainability.

20+ years ago, we have ventured into the field of environmentally friendly solutions. As we started off along with the booming construction industry in Hong Kong, we also noticed the backdraws of high-rises and compact buildings. There were problems inside buildings such as noise pollution, lack of sunlight, poor IAQ, high energy usage and many more. Very early on, we started introducing many varieties of innovative solutions and technologies from abroad. We always want to make our daily environment better, now commonly known as wellbeing.

We source leading innovative technologies around the world, bring them to Hong Kong, Macau and nearby regions. We work with partners to localize, educate stakeholders and users and provide long-term service and maintenance.

Leading by example.

When we source solutions, we lead by example. We first try it ourselves, if not possible then we work with partners for trials, pilot projects so that we can understand, then educate key players in each sector, to prove that the solution works.

One of which is our key reuse figures we had collected in our most recent office relocation, where we kept record of what has been reused and upgraded.

See Office Relocation 2024 Here

Below are what we have been doing in our office practices to contribute to a sustainable future:

    • We use i-Mop, i-Vac for daily floor cleaning.

    • We use Kleen Purgatis detergents and HOCl water for daily surface cleaning and disinfection. Click Here for our HOCl water story during COVID-19

    • We used Excentr during renovation for floor polishing, restoring the damage natural stone floor at reception area

    • We used viega for no hot works plumbing that is also made visible in our showroom

    • We used GRIPPLE for hanging cabling racks in our warehouse

    • All of our wellbeing products in our showroom are always free for our staffs to enjoy

    • Each month, we have different gathering sessions to educate staffs of what we can do more for health, wellness, sustainability etc.

    • When we moved office 3 times, we kept and reuse 100% of lighting fixtures, shelves, desks and chairs most we invested more than a decade ago

    • We moved, redesigned and reinstalled our feature wall at our reception

    • Reuse 21% of our old air diffusers at our new office

    • Reuse 100% of doors at our new office

    • Reuse of cabling and cable connectors

    More in detail here

  • To save energy, since a decade ago, we have already adopted sensorized lighting for most parts of our office. When we saw the previous tenant at our current address, we saw 60 light switches scattered across the office space. We now only have 1 switch for entry area and all other lights are triggered by motion sensors.

  • We have adopted IoT smart thermostats and central control units for all our air conditioning. Like light switches, we saw 52 thermostat switches from previous tenants, we now only have 2 touchscreen control panel for all 52 FCUs. All FCUs are turned on/off automatically.

  • We constantly look to upgrade our own air diffusers. We upgraded our air diffusers from our office, and we kept 21% of our older ones. The old air diffusers had decent air flow; the nozzle is great for adjusting air flow direction, but we need more for flexibility for staff areas. Therefore, we moved from “1 headed” nozzle to “4-headed” nozzle air diffusers. Each diffuser comes with remote control on/off function.

  • While we are leader in many sectors, there are still areas where we are behind. So here are some immediate plans we plan to roll out at our office practice.

    • Automated measurement of recyclable wastes

    • Measurement of IAQ

    • Upgrade of return air unit filters (in-house product)

    • Continue to go paperless
