*Intelli-hood retro-fitted into conventional kitchen hood*

Intelli-Hood controls are easily installed on new hoods and retrofitted on existing hoods. Temperature and optic sensors get mounted inside the hood/duct, and keypad, processor, and variable-speed drives typically get mounted in an end-cabinet or on a kitchen wall.

To operate, the cook/chef simply switches on the system. Fan speed increases or decreases based on exhaust air temperature and smoke/vapor density.
