Hong Kong is facing severe air pollution lately, with at least 10 areas at the highest health risk level according to the Environmental Protection Department.
Our office's air filtration and ventilation system protects employees from recent city air pollution. While the Kwun Tong area’s PM2.5 levels ranged from 98-162μg/m3, our office's levels stayed low at <1-6μg/m3.
Daily office PM2.5 levels reach a high of 6μg/m3 at night when ventilation is off. They quickly drop to 1μg/m3 or lower around 7:30 AM when ventilation turns on automatically an hour before staffs arrive workplace. PM1.0 and PM10 show similar patterns in the graphs below.
